The mission of Godman Guild is to provide programs that enhance the social and economic mobility of individuals and families in Central Ohio. Godman Guild’s Social and Economic Mobility Initiative provides programs and services designed to support the education, employment, and training goals of community members ages 5 and up. Our employment programs provide education, training, and certifications to help you take the next step in your career. Our Aspire adult literacy and education programs provide the language, reading, and math skills required to obtain a high school equivalency, enter college, or obtain a job and ESOL classes to help improve English speaking, reading, listening, and comprehension skills. Our T.E.E.N. program is building a community and network of teens across Central Ohio, while preparing them for transitions after high school graduation. A.C.E.S. and S.Y.E.P. offer year-round academic and developmental youth programming for Columbus City School students.

Godman Guild sustains funding for our programs through two social enterprises: Camp Mary Orton and Blue Bow Tie Catering. Both fee-for-service enterprises provide training and employment opportunities for participants while offering valuable services to the community.
